Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her roles as the main character in TV programs like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Mary McCormack is famous for her performances in the movies 'Private Parts as well as 'Deep Insanity, True Crime and 1408. McCormack, who was born in a house without any entertainment connection at all to her family tree, was the daughter of a clinical therapist and the proprietor of an Ice Cream Parlor. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She completed the BA program in comparative arts. When she was 12 She began her acting career with a production of the Christmas musical "Amahl And The Night Visitor". In the course of her work in theatre, McCormack eventually became a part of films and television. McCormack has been recognized as being one of Hollywood's best-known and versatile actors. She has three daughters together with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
