Anna Chlumsky continued to charm audiences with leading role in films such as "Trading Mother," and Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain. The interest she had in the acting field waned, and she turned her attention to education. The job she was unhappy with was her job as an assistant editor at HarperCollins. Then she decided to get back into acting. After following the advice from her agent, she took acting classes to sharpen her acting skills. Then, she landed the part as Liza in 'In The Loop which led her to feature on stage in Off Broadway plays. While she is unsure of what might have transpired had she been able to stay away from performing, it's beneficial that she did not.
