Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. Growing up and being raised in California, USA, she made her debut in modeling in Italy. In 1996 she debuted as an actress in the TV movie titled 'Her Pricely Affair.' Her struggle was to find a role as a star as a character in Starship Troopers, despite having starred in many movies. She struggled with the transition between modeling and acting since models aren't considered to be good actors, and they're usually given insignificant and small parts. Amy didn't give up. She exceeded her roles from the 70's' show and the movie Varsity Blues. The romantic comedy film "Just Friends" with Ryan Reynolds gave her her first leading role.
